“Genesis” is one of the 38 canonical books of the Old Testament, the first book of the Pentateuch of Moiseev and the whole Bible. This is a universal introduction into world history, telling about the beginning of the world and humanity. The book of Genesis is divided into two unequal parts. The first 11 chapters contain a story about the creation of the world and man, and the remaining 39 chapters are the history of the Jewish people in the person of its ancestors - the patriarchs of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph
