From the century, we have been trying to understand why the Great Russian Revolution has occurred. Betrayal? CONSPIRACY? The influence of dark forces? Someone else"s money? Was Lenin a German spy, and Trotsky - American? And why did Emperor Nicholas II immediately suppressed the uprising, did not shoot the rebels who went out onto the streets of Petrograd? Oddly enough, it sounds, but the deep causes, springs and the entire course of the revolution remain incomprehensible and not understood.
In the book, which is invited by the Ardis Studio, the famous journalist, international observer, TV presenter Leonid Mlechin talks about how the events of 1917, which changed the fate of Russia, developed from the murder of Grigory Rasputin to the dispersal of the Constituent Assembly, draws portraits of key figures of the Russian revolution, which appear in a new light. And he answers the main question: why, having tried all options for a political system from February to October, Russia made a choice in favor of the reign of incomparably more rigid than the royal regime?
