Nikolai Semenovich Leskov [1831 - 1895] - author of "left -handed people" - one of the best masters of Russian prose. Each of his work is an artistic melody that arises on the basis of real events and invisibly connecting these events with the past, turning to thoughts about the future.
Christmas - the happiest, most mysterious holiday of Christian culture. Christmas is the birth of a man - God who was sent to help make a person’s life better, cleaner, more moral. In fiction, this holiday is embodied in the traditions of a holy story.
In the holy stories, good and evil are necessarily present. Holy stories are edifying, but morality does not speak directly in them. The reader must make a moral conclusion independently, answering the question: "What should be a person?"
