Paul Cezann (1839–1906) is a famous French artist, representative of post -impressionism, who worked simultaneously with the impressionists, but in search of his own style, which went further than them. For some time, the painter was under their influence, studied with friends, put his work with them, but was not limited to the find of impressionism - the transmission of the momentary state of nature and the reality visible to the human eye. On the contrary, Cezanne was looking for a forming basis and internal logic of nature. The art of the master was recognized only at the end of his life.
Cezanna"s work anticipated cubism and abstractionism. He revealed the world “New Art”, born not by repetition of reality, but by the design of its model in the mind of the artist, and therefore deeply individual and original.
The publication includes about 230 works of the field of Cezanne, an article on the biography and genres of painting, in which the master worked, as well as the main stages of his life and creativity
