Fedor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky wrote his last and most difficult novel for about two years (1878-1880) The work was conceived as the first part of the epic "Life of the Great Sinner", but the writer did not manage to fully fulfill his plan: death was prevented ... The novel, which tells the dramatic history of the Karamazov family, reflects the contradictions of the era, disappointment and hope of the enlightened part of society, defends the value of the value based on the original foundations and traditions of the people. The novel gained worldwide fame, was repeatedly shielded, and various stage works were created based on it.
