The Black Chicken, or Underground Residents" is an Anthony Pogorelsky’s magic story, published in 1829. She became almost the first copyright work in Russian, written for children. Pogorelsky composed this fairy tale for his nephew Alyosha, whose education paid a lot of attention. When the boy grew up, he became a very famous writer Alexei Konstantinovich Tolstoy.
