The universal educational and methodological set for 7th grade geography (author - O.V. Krylova) includes an atlas "Continents and Oceans. Countries and Peoples", a collection of tasks for working with the atlas, and outline maps with educational assignments. The set is developed in accordance with the "Concept of the Development of Geographic Education in the Russian Federation" and aims to develop students' universal educational actions, including cognitive ones. Studying the materials of the atlas, completing tasks for independent work will significantly expand students' knowledge about the nature and population of the Earth, about the geographical features of continents and oceans. This manual significantly increases the variability of tasks on atlas maps and outline maps. Along with traditional question-based assessments, students are offered tasks to create their own maps, including as part of a group. Great attention is paid to testing skills in working with various types and sources of geographic information. The proposed set is suitable for all school geography programs and textbooks, complies with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards (FGOS), and is approved by methodologists.
