The advantage of the most famous atlas in the world on gynecological surgery is the demonstration of real anatomy and the accessible description of surgical techniques, the most important operational and technical nuances, which are so necessary for the work of practicing surgeons. The book discusses materials on the anatomy and surgery of the anterior abdominal wall, uterus and its appendages, retroperitoneal, intraperitoneal, and presacral spaces, and the mammary gland. Operations during pregnancy, surgical interventions for transgender disorders are covered. In the new edition, information on vaginal surgery, operations for gynecological oncology, as well as tools for ultrasound and laser surgery and suture material has been significantly supplemented and revised. Four new chapters are included: on robotic surgery, vulvar diseases, vaginal prolapse plastic surgery, prevention and treatment of complications associated with the installation of mesh implants and loop operations. The translation of the second edition became a bibliographic rarity, the third edition was not translated into Russian.
