The atlas presents the most common nosological forms of diseases of the maxillofacial region in children and adolescents. The manual reflects the issues of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory diseases, innate and hereditary pathology of the maxillofacial region, vascular malformations, injuries of the bones of the facial skeleton and soft tissues, as well as diseases of the temporomandibular joint. Diagnostics is based on the principles of evidence-based medicine and includes modern high-tech hardware diagnostic methods - ultrasound examination with color doppler mapping, multispiral computed tomography, dental volumetric tomography and magnetic resonance tomography.
