The two previous editions, the "Atlas of Oncological Operations" were well perceived by a wide range of doctors, scientists of our country and neighboring countries. The proposed reader "Atlas of operations for malignant tumors of the lungs, trachea and mediastinum" is one of the volume of the series of books of the third publication dedicated to the surgical treatment of patients with neoplasms of different organs and systems. It presents new sections: operations in tracheal tumors, lungs with pancost syndrome, metastatic tumors. The big chapter is devoted to modern variants of video video operations in lung and mediastinum tumors. For the first time, a technique of intraoperative ultrasonic and tactile diagnosis of non-fallen peripheral neoplasms of the lungs is presented. In the first chapters, the topography of the lymph system of the lungs, options for intragenous metastasis, clinical and morphological classifications, criteria of radicalism of oncological operations are set out. Particular attention is paid to the standardization of the prevalence of the tumor process according to the international classification on the TNM system (last, seventh, revision) All major classic radical operations are described (access, revision, technique, their volume and character) during cancer and carcinoids, as well as the individual stages of operational interventions (fastened by patents) on the basis of personal experience and acquaintance with world literature.
