Released in 1987 and 2008. Two previous editions of "atlas oncological operations" were in demand by a wide range of doctors of various specialties.
The proposed reader "atlas of oncological operations in breast tumors" is one of the volume from the series of books of the third publication dedicated to the surgical treatment of patients with neoplasms of different organs and systems.
In accordance with the modern ideas about the treatment of breast cancer, new sections are presented on the methods of organo-breeding and reconstructive-plastic operations, the definition of "watchdog" lymph node for possible selective regional liberadectomy. The latest international classification on the TNM system (seventh edition) is given. As in previous atlas editions, much attention is paid to the peculiarities of the topographic anatomy of the front breast, lymph and blood supply of breast and regional zones. All major classic radical operations are described (access, techniques, volume and character) and modern trends in the treatment of breast neoplasms.
