Alexander Arefievich Uspensky was born 11 (23) August 1872. He graduated from the Lithuanian spiritual seminary, but soon after that he entered the rank in the 108th Saratov Regiment on the rights of over-determined. From there, he was sent to the Vilna Infantry School, graduating which, received a rank rank. The First World War Captain Uspensky met the company commander of the 106th Ufa Regiment. In his glorious military path, the heroic protection of the bridge across the Alla River is distinguished by a bright episode, when the squad under the Usspensky team covered the retreat of the Russian army. For this fight, Alexander Uspensky received the rank of lieutenant colonel, but when the order came out, he was already in captivity.
