The widely known brochure of the Indian occultist, writer, and lecturer Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895–1986) was written by him at the age of fifteen during astral travels under the guidance of the famous theosophist Charles Leadbeater (1854–1934). The material of the brochure consists of dictations from the Teacher of the Higher World, which touch upon fundamental questions of spiritual development such as the ability to discern, detachment, righteous behavior, and the expression of love in concrete actions aimed at the creative transformation of the world. The publication is accompanied by an editorial article "About the Author," which provides a brief biography of J. Krishnamurti, as well as an appendix containing the main theses of his Teaching and a small collection of his selected aphorisms, as well as a catechism of self-knowledge. The Russian text of the brochure "At the Feet of the Teacher" corresponds to the translated edition of 1916. Intended for a wide range of readers on the path of spiritual development.
