The collection is dedicated to Zinovy Papernaya (1919-1996), a well-known literary critic, author of popular books about V. Mayakovsky, A. Chekhov, M. Svetlov. Literary Moscow of the 1950s and 70s, he was known as the author of parodies, satirical poems and songs distributed in Samizdat. A unique sense of humor made a paperial guest of friendly feasts, where his exact and sarcastic severity created an atmosphere of free thought. The same sense of humor ultimately led to conflict with the authorities, he was expelled from the party, and he was threatened with dismissal from work, fortunately, this story was told in detail in the comments of his son. The book includes the memories of Zinovia Papern, his own memoirs and parodies, as well as his messages and initiation to friends. Among the heroes of the book, friends and acquaintances of Z. Paperny, - I. Andronikov, K. Chukovsky, S. Marshak, Yu. Lyubimov, L. Utesov, A. Raikin and many others.
