The training manual considers such issues as an analysis of the structure of a speech defect in dysarthria, etiology and pathogenesis of this speech disorder. A characteristic of clinical forms of dysarthria in adults is given, the classification and description of the main forms of dysarthria in children. The degree of dysarthria manifestations in childhood are considered. The issues of speech therapy examination and correctional and pedagogical effects in dysarthria are discussed. The content of the manual is focused on the formation of a wide range of professional competencies among undergraduate students.
The manual is addressed to undergraduate students (direction Special (defectological) education), teachers of higher educational institutions. The materials of the manual can be used in the practical activities of speech therapists and other specialists involved in the problems of studying and correcting speech development disorders in people with dysarthria.
