The pamphlet will help teachers teaching natural subjects to realize one of the main ideas of the new educational standard (GEF): a systematic and active approach to learning.
The essence of this approach, its features and meaning is revealed in it. The main components (activities, needs, motives), ways to activate are named and considered.
One of the possible theories of constructing lessons in the study of new material that implement this approach is described in detail, and then the theory is illustrated by examples of three lessons (on the topics" thermal conductivity, "boiling", "transmission of pressure of liquids and gases.
