The monograph presents the results of many years of scientific research in the field of special psychology and correctional pedagogy. Specific features of the development of the thinking of preschool children with impaired intelligence are presented. The paths, pedagogical conditions, content, methods and techniques for the formation of the mental activity of children of the studied category studied are determined. The possibility and prospects of specially organized pedagogical work aimed at correcting the thinking of preschoolers in violation of intelligence have been proved, which ensures further successful education at school and socialization as a whole.
