Russian literature, written by women, relatively recently has become a full -fledged and legitimate object of study in Russian philology. Irina Savkin was one of the first researchers who turned to the analysis of the phenomenon of female creativity in Russian culture and undertaken labor to develop the scientific tools necessary for this. This publication is a collection of selected articles by the author, written in 1998–2020 and devoted to critical rethinking of various genres of Russian female literature: prose, poetry, memoiristics. The collection not only introduces the reader to the scientific achievements of the author, but also gives an idea of the circle of problems and questions that were and remain relevant subjects of discussions in Russian -language gender research.
