Wallwater photonics. Examples of calculation and graphic works. Tutorial

The textbook is a theoretical and didactic material for the performance of calculation and graphic works on a wave-water photonic consisting of two sections: a linear and nonlinear wave-water photonics. Each section includes four calculation-graphic works. Individual tasks have 36 implementation options. All tasks are accompanied by theoretical material and methodological recommendations for calculations, which allows the student to independently cope with the tasks, and the knowledge gained during the performance of the work and practical skills create a base for understanding the physical foundations of both today"s and promising technological directions in the wave -water photonics. The manual can be used as a workshop, since the given calculations in the work are applicable to consolidate the theoretical material in practical classes. The textbook implies the presence of basic knowledge of physical and quantum optics, the physical foundations of optical communication, as well as the basics of building optical telecommunication systems.
