Ekaterina Kubryakova-blogger, author of the literary and historical project "Voice from the windows", dedicated to the preservation of the history of St. Petersburg, writer, playwright. In 2019, she was awarded the Antsiferovsky Prize with a diploma. Her new, already third book is not an encyclopedia and a local history study. Rather, a kaleidoscope of stories, a kind of interpretation of Genius Loci, the spirit of a place living in the old houses of the great city. An attempt to revive the building, silent witnesses of the former, the voices of their famous inhabitants: from Merezhskosko to Shostakovich.
