The monograph is devoted to the creative and pedagogical activity of Vladimir Beklemishev, one of the leading sculptors of the late XIX - early XX centuries. The attraction of previously unknown archival materials, publications in the press, memoirs and letters of contemporaries made it possible to first submit the legacy of the sculptor in all its genre diversity, as well as to compose the most complete catalog of works. The book examines the work of a sculptural workshop, headed by Beklemishev at the Imperial Academy of Arts until 1918. Along with this, materials about the creative fate of family members Vladimir Beklemishev are included in the publication. The book is addressed to art historians, artists, art historians, teachers, students and graduate students of creative universities and colleges, as well as a wide range of readers interested in the history of Russian art as a whole and the Imperial Academy of Arts in particular
