The album made an attempt on the basis of the memoirs of contemporaries by V.V. Vereshchagin, people of his close circle of communication, as well as archival documents, periodicals of the late XIX - early XX centuries and not included in the scientific circulation of the painting of the painter to reveal his inner world. The purpose of the publication is to introduce an extensive audience of admirers of the work of Vasily Vereshchagin with his unknown, little -known and mistakenly attributed to other authors of artistic canvases, to tell about their fate. Heads dedicated to collectible activities and architectural views will open the reader new boundaries of the activities of the great citizen and the Russian Court of the Russian land.
