The book includes the works of a photographer, who disassembles industrial design objects, creates slim compositions from details and takes pictures, showing the audience a complex internal structure of everyday objects and urging to think about technological progress and consumption. For this publication, the author dismantled and photographed more than fifty objects - both modern and outdated. Fascinating photographs of all kinds of disassembled equipment - from a mechanical pencil to a light -engine aircraft - are accompanied by the essay of the author himself, as well as its like -minded people: the founder of the community of repairing equipment, the restorer of antique ceramics, the organizer of children"s engineering workshops and the inventor. All of them - each from their position - talk about the contradictory relations of a person with the world of things - in the past, present and future
