The book is dedicated to the work of leading Turkish writers of the so -called transitional era of Turkish literature - the turn of the twentieth - XXI centuries (Aila Kutlu, Zyulfu Lewelly, Ahmet Umit, Janan Tan, Peresener Pala, Barysh Mustazhaplyoglu, Aisha Kulin, Orhan Pamuk), as well as the work of Haldun Taner, who stood at the origins of this era and designated its main vectors with his works. The creative biographies of writers are given, the degree of knowledge of their work by Russian and Turkish critical thought is shown, the most significant works of these authors are analyzed, on the basis of which the determining signs of the literature of the transition era are distinguished - the departure from log centrism and literary centrism, cinematography and visualization, commercialization of the writer and reader relations, and the presence spontaneous multi -laying, lack of leaders, unprecedented strengthening of mass literature and fiction, etc. The work of writers is represented on a wide socio-political and literary background of modern Turkey
