The book describes a unique approach to the care and education of children of infant and early age, developed by the Hungarian pediatrician Emmy Picler.
The reader finds out how competent the baby is if adults create conditions for his independent movement and game, as well as how calm and self-sufficient the baby becomes when parents really recognize their baby and respond precisely to his individual needs, and not follow the generally accepted behavior templates.
The publication contains a large number of drawings and photographs illustrating good care, cooperation and support of the child on his way to independence.
