The book provides a description of the entire history of the construction and reconstruction of the State Tretyakov Gallery. The book includes two sections: Lavrushinsky Lane and the Crimean shaft. It contains projects of architectural elements, the process of construction history. The book includes both blocks, separated geographically, but closely related historically. The publication contains numerous illustrations.
The author of the book, Makhalov Evgeny Mikhailovich, was born in Moscow in 1946, graduated from Moscow State University, candidate of science, worked for 20 years in the USSR Academy of Sciences and 27 years old - the chief specialist of the Tretyakov Gallery in the computer science department. In parallel for six years, he oversaw the restoration of the temple from the community. He owns several implemented architectural projects on the temple
