Training children with severe and multiple developmental disorders: experience in using alternative methods

The book includes articles describing the practical experience and recommendations for the organization of teaching children with severe and multiple developmental disabilities using alternative and additional communications. The practice of applying ADC technologies based on Polish and St. Petersburg experience is presented.
Separate material introduces the “Intensive Interaction” approach, which is still unknown by the Russian audience, developed in the UK specifically to support the development of children and adults with the most pronounced developmental disabilities and severe forms of autism.
