Three centuries of searches and achievements. Domestic art of the XVII-XX centuries

This collection of scientific articles is a systematic selection of unique copyright materials on the history of domestic art of new and modern times with some necessary excursion to modern art, provided by art critics from different regions of Russia. The compilers and authors of the collection set their main task to convincingly identify and largely reveal a wide range of problems of the history of domestic art of the new and recent times in its metropolitan and regional aspects and highlight individual issues of its interaction with foreign artistic practice. The key for the texts included in the collection was the problem of innovation in the art of Russia for the last three centuries and partly, taking into account the inextricable connection with the achievements of previous eras
