Three centuries of Russian art in the context of world culture

The collection combined the works of art historians who study complex processes of mutual influence and interaction of Russian artistic culture of the new and modern time and various national schools and international trends.
Five sections of the collection cover the disclosure of interactions, influences and characteristics of Russian art and European artistic experience from the beginning of the 18th century to the present day, and also include studies aimed at studying the productive activity of Russian artists abroad, revealing the features of the development of artistic Cultures of Russian regions and the experience of understanding domestic and foreign art history and artistic criticism.
The publication of this collection is also designed to note the memory of one of the outstanding Moscow art historians and art critics Alexander Ilyich Morozov (1941-2010), who in 1990 became the initiator of the creation of the All-Russian Public Organization Association of Arts
