Thermodynamics and electrodynamics of continuous media

Various aspects of the mechanics of polarized and conducting continuous bodies and media, taking into account magnetic, electric and thermal effects, are considered. The presentation is carried out within the framework of a general approach based on thermo and electromechanical variational principles that allow us to find equilibrium conditions, which is impossible using the principles of Gibbs and the bar. The results obtained were applied to the theory of nonequilibrium processes in the withdrawal of the determining ratios necessary for the closure of thermoelectromagnetodynamic equations.
