Alla Demidova’s new book is special. This is an invitation to the theater, to the legendary performance "Cherry Garden", staged by A.V. Efros on Taganka in 1975. All Moscow talked about this production, tickets were sold out instantly. The director broke the stereotypes of previous productions, embodied on the stage what no one had done before him. Demidova (Ranevskaya) presented to the audience a lady of the Silver Age era and thereby made it possible to see this classic image differently. She was the center of the performance, and her partners were V. Vysotsky and V. Zolotukhin.
