Konstantin Mikhailovich Mikravsky (1885 - 1943) - Russian theater artist and director, theater historian. He dedicated his book to the Italian Theater to the Italian theater. As the author himself wrote, studying the Italian theater, he considered it necessary to pay the most attention to the "Italian" sources and was more interested in the era of heyday than the era of decline. The book contains the history and dogma of the Italian comedy Dell"arte, samples of scripts, monologues and dialogues, a bibliographic index.
