Evgeny Nikolaevich Opochinin (1858-1928) - Russian writer from the nobles of the Yaroslavl province. He graduated from Kyiv University. Since 1879 he lived in St. Petersburg. He was the guardian of the library of the Society of Lovers of Ancient Writing, worked at the Museum of Antiquities under the leadership of P.P. Vyazemsky. Edited the interior of the newspaper Government Bulletin. His memories of Milyukov, Vyazemsky, Maykov, Krestovsky, Danilevsky, Grigorovich, Semevsky, Terpigorov, Dostoevsky, Polonsky and his “Friday” were preserved. Circulation 30 copies.
