The book of a religious and political philosopher, a representative of Russian existentialism and personalism, the author of the original concept of the philosophy of freedom and the concept of the New Middle Ages N.A. Berdyaev, entitled the “worldview of Dostoevsky”, was published in the first edition in 1924 in Berlin. The impetus for its writing was the course of lectures, read by Berdyaev on the work of the great writer. The seminar, which I led about Dostoevsky at the Free Academy of Spiritual Culture during the winter of 1920-21, finally prompted me to collect all my thoughts about Dostoevsky. And I wrote a book in which I not only tried to reveal the worldview of Dostoevsky, but also put a lot from my own worldview. " Berdyaev’s thoughts on Dostoevsky occupy a special place in the literature on the work of the writer. These are the thoughts of Dostoevsky-thought, who, if we accept the image outlined by Berdyaev, can, without hesitation, be attributed to the founders of extreme type of thinking. It is not for nothing that Berdyaev writes that he put in this book "A lot from my own worldview." The direct dialogue of such powerful thinkers will help the reader in understanding the multifaceted personality of Dostoevsky, who is not only a writer for Russia, but also a teacher, judge, healer.
