This textbook was based on materials of a semester course of lectures, which was given by the author for several years for students of the first courses of the undergraduate of the St. Petersburg Academic University. The textbook includes all the main sections of the modern theory of graphs, cycles, connectivity in columns, steam-combination, coloring graphs, planar columns. At the end of each paragraph, the tasks supplement the theoretical material supplemented in the textbook. All statements are equipped with detailed evidence, the presentation is illustrated by a large number of drawings.
The textbook is designed for junior students studying mathematics and computer science, as well as specialists from related fields who want to independently study the main sections of the theory of graphs. Most of the material does not imply special preliminary knowledge and can be used by schoolchildren studying programming and discrete mathematics. Finally, this textbook can be useful to teachers leading the corresponding courses
