The Lumier brothers photo center released the photo album Soviet era of Markov-Grinberg. The book includes about 100 best photos of the legendary reporter. This is the first edition of the photo work of the master in Russia. Mark Markov-Grinberg was one of those photographers who not only mastered, but also created the language of reporter photography. Historical truth, the history of the state in photographs in different periods of life - from collectivization to the Great Patriotic War and the first flights into space - is interesting not only to lovers of photography, but also to those who study and are interested in the history of the country. After all, photos never lie. They will tell the attentive viewer much more than the volume of encyclopedias. Photos of the “Oath of the Soldier”, “This is not forgotten”, “For the homeland”, “on the Kursk Bulge” became well known in the genre of military report, and the portrait of Shakhtar Nikita Izotov and diptych “from now on and forever” - among the works of civil theme.
