This book shows the role of photons in physical and chemical phenomena and processes on the path of knowledge of the world. A new model of photon and the concept of rotation of photons around all charged elementary particles of the atom are proposed. A new physical interpretation of the results of the solution of the Schrödinger equation for an electron in the hydrogen atom is given. With the help of photon theory, the structure of the atom and chemical bonds are considered, the justification of the electrical conductivity and superconductivity and the role of photons in these phenomena are given, thermophysical processes, the physical essence of the concept of the temperature of the substance and phase transitions are described. The evidence base is represented by numerous calculations. Photon systematicity and integrity of the presentation of the material serves as a scientific justification of the above physical and chemical concepts and phenomena.
The book is intended for students studying under the program of undergraduate and graduate of the areas of training and specialties included in the UGS: "Biological Sciences", "Photonics, Instrumentation, Optical and Biotechnical Systems and Technologies", "Physical and Technical Sciences and Technologies" , "Technologies of nanomaterials", "nanotechnology and nanomaterials" and other engineering and biological specialties of universities. The book can also be useful to students and teachers of non -chemical specialties, employees of the Research Institute.
