The book is dedicated to the little -known monuments of Moscow, both preserved and being objects of the cultural heritage of the capital, and who was not preserved.
This work is characterized by novelty and relevance, it reveals new, hitherto unknown pages based on newly found genuine historical documents and archival materials of the XVII-early XXI centuries, collected over many years of work in the archives of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Each head of the book covers in detail the history of possessions and buildings, tells about their owners. Interesting documentary facts are given, most of which are published for the first time. The story of each monument is illustrated by ancient views, archival plans of possessions, drawings of facades of buildings, portraits of the owners of houses and their guests.
