The book discusses the issues of modern education of the younger generation in Russia.
A brief analysis of Western European and American education systems is given on the example of bright representatives of various pedagogical schools, such as J. Locke, K. Helvetius, I. Pestalozzi, M. Montssori, and the possibility of their use in Russian conditions.
A separate chapter is dedicated to the description of the Russian, Soviet and Russian education system, starting from the "Domostroy" and ending with the pedagogical activities of K. Ushinsky, II. Pirogov and L. Makarenko on the education of a creative person, directed to constant self -improvement and transformation of society.
In the final part of the book, the processes of education are considered in combination with the existing socio-economic problems of our society, which have the main influence on the development of the formation and education of Russian youth of the first quarter of the 21st century.
