The monograph is devoted to the disclosure of an original, unique image of childhood, embodied in the works of the Russian writer of the first half of the 20th century Ivan Sergeyevich Shmelev. The study considers the uniqueness of the figurative-motive system of texts, their ideological and aesthetic content, the originality of the language structure, visual means and methods of display, the evolution of the writer"s worldview views, which entailed a change in the artistic image method.
