The textbook is intended for children with disabilities and implements the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject area "Man and Society" for students with intellectual disorders.
The textbook considers the history of the Russian state from 1917 to the present day. Students will receive an idea of such the most important events of the 20th century as the Great Russian Revolution, the Civil War, the Great Patriotic War, the Perestroika, the collapse of the USSR and the transformation of the RSFSR into the Russian Federation. The study of this course will help students to determine the value priorities by understanding the historical experience of their country, will teach them how to apply historical knowledge in educational and social activity, and will contribute to the formation of their moral consciousness.
