In the manual, the children"s game is considered as an effective diagnostic, correctional, developing and educational tool that allows adults not only to find the way to the child’s soul, to help him discover the beauty of the world and human relations, but also to experience the joy of playing communication with him.
Based on the fundamental representations of outstanding domestic researchers L.S. Vygotsky, D.B. Elkonin, S.L. Novosyolova, D.I. Feldstein, Sh.A. Amonashvili, A.S. Spivakovskaya, their followers analyzed the requirements for creating the gaming environment of the house and outside of it, taking into account the age of the child and the problems of its development.
The capabilities of the game are considered during periods of preparing children for school and adaptation to its requirements in primary school age, as well as the rehabilitation of children and families who survived the terrorist attack in Beslan in 2004. A separate chapter is devoted to controversial issues of influence on modern children, in including computer, games indicating the transformation of the children"s gaming environment, its game functions.
The characteristics of indicators of the effectiveness of the use of game procedures, diagnostic criteria for analyzing game behavior and children"s experiences are given.
The manual is addressed to young researchers, educators, teachers, psychologists, parents, focused on enriching their competence in the analysis and efficient use of the developmental capabilities of the traditional experience of playing children and modern games, toys and game forms of leisure organization
