In the work, a set of manuscripts stored in the RSL, RND, Ban and GIM, which once constituted a single historical work with the presentation of events from the creation of the world to 1567 (in the form that has reached us), was considered. The main task of the authors is to consider the methodology of working with the complex as a whole, since disparate existence and study of individual fragments caused many myths on almost all aspects of the history of the formation of the facial annalistic arch. According to the authors, the study of disparate complexes should be made of their policy description, excluding arbitrariness in the interpretation of both individual fragments and the manuscript as a whole. The authors proposed a reference policy description of the two parts of the facial arch, in which the shortcomings of the existing publication of their text were corrected and information about the manuscript miniatures published to date. The book is addressed to specialists in the history of the domestic Middle Ages and, in particular, annals, it can be useful to students and graduate students
