2016–2018 The team of authors under the leadership of the Doctor of Philosophy, Professor A. L. Kazin prepared and published three volumes (III volumes in two parts) of the collective research “The fate of the Russian spiritual tradition in Russian literature and art”, chronologically covering 1917–2017. As a continuation of this publication, an author"s team under the guidance of prof. A. L. Kazin offers a collection of articles “The fate of the Russian spiritual tradition in Russian literature and art. 1870-1900.
Classics in the era of early modernity - this is the key methodological formula for the proposed labor. The main goal and novelty of the project is in a comparative analysis of the aspects of Russian artistic culture, dating back to the Orthodoxy, on the material of the main types of art - literature, music, painting and architecture of this period.
