The monograph is dedicated to one of the outstanding representatives of the Moscow School of Painting, an artist, professor of painting Alexei Mikhailovich Korin (1865-1923), who belonged to the new generation of artists, called "late predictions", who continued the best traditions of the Russian realistic school in the late XIX - early XX centuries. A.M. Korin devoted his whole life to art, leaving a great creative heritage: as a painter - his works, as a teacher - several generations of artists brought up by his knowledge and energy. The presented publication is the first comprehensive study of the biographical and artistic heritage of the master. It contains unique information, unknown facts from the artist’s life, a new view of his work. The book has a large number of illustrations from more than sixty museum and private collections, a significant part of which is published for the first time
