The book is the next edition of the encyclopedic dictionary about the artists of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. The previous edition of the "Bolshoi Theater in Russia in the biographies of musicians" saw the light in 2018. This dictionary is dedicated to the artists of the choir. The three chapters of the book reflect the events and facts of three eras in the history of the choir: the Imperial Theater, Soviet and post -Soviet periods. Each chapter is a block of two sections - a historical review and an organized vocabulary in alphabet. The vocabulary was inquiries about the artists of the choir and the chormasters of the Bolshoi Theater. Three chapters are supplemented by applications, which provide data on the children"s choir and the vocal ensembles that worked at different times in the Bolshoi Theater, for the first time collected information about the facial ensemble and soufflers, was given the full composition of the choir at the end of 2018. Many information is published for the first time: this is almost all the data on the centenary history of the choir since the end of the 18th century, the unique details of the organization of the first, in the modern sense of the professional, choir of the Bolshoi Theater in 1882, a significant part of the archival data of the Soviet period.
