The binding link. A collection in memory of E.P. Shumilova

The collection "Binder link" is dedicated to the memory of Elena Petrovna Shumilova (1940-2018) - a long -term scientist of the secretary, and then the deputy director of the Institute of Higher Humanitarian Research. The first, memorial, part tells about it about that cultural and scientific life, the active participant of which she was. But this value of the collection is not exhausted. It published articles by famous philologists: N.V. Braginskaya, A.K. Zholkovsky, S.N. Zenkina, O.A. Lexmanova, S.D. Silver and others. The circle of issues under consideration is very wide: from ancient English poetry to verses by Akhmatova and Pasternak, from the theory of Adam Smith to translations from Bengal, but each article contains a small discovery, makes an important contribution to the history of literature.
