The monograph is devoted to the study of the problem of the formation and development of security pedagogy in the context of a philosophical understanding of the security phenomenon. Based on the analysis of works devoted to human safety problems, the most general theoretical provisions of this field of knowledge are determined. The current problems of the science of security are formulated, the concepts of “danger” and “safety” as philosophical categories are defined. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the scientific direction of safety of life and safety pedagogy are presented. Didactic features are identified, specific principles of security pedagogy at the level of general education have been identified. A methodological approach of training the basics of security is proposed. The results of a study of the application of the proposed approach are presented.
