Joseph Levin (1874 - 1944) - Russian -American pianist, graduate of the Moscow Conservatory (class of V. Safonov), a music teacher who taught at the Julian school (New York) This book is a well -known tutorial on the piano game. For the first time, it saw the light in 1924, the author sought to state the principles of piano play in an accessible form in accordance with the traditions of the Russian performing school. The author writes about such qualities of a pianist game as a good sound, accuracy, fluidity, strength and softness, a sense of rhythm and much more.
