The book is dedicated to one of the largest archaeological monuments of the Mountain Crimea-"Cave City" of the Eski-Kermen, which arose during the Middle Ages, the Eski-Kermena is devoted to many articles in scientific journals, as well as individual chapters in scientific monographs and guidebooks in the "caves" of Crimea. However, books, entirely dedicated to the Eska-Kermen, did not exist before the release of this monograph. Working on the book, the author repeatedly visited other "caves" Crimea, got acquainted with the antiquities of Asia Minor, in particular, with Cappadocian underground cities
